Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Pulse Final Mile LLC ("Pulse Final Mile," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares personal information. It applies to our website at www.pulsefinalmile.com, our order tracking and customer support tools, our text (SMS) notifications, and the delivery and installation services we arrange (together, the "Services").

Pulse Final Mile is a final-mile delivery and installation broker. We arrange home delivery and installation for retailers and manufacturers using independent Network Carrier Partners ("NCPs"). Because of this, much of the personal information we handle about delivery recipients is provided to us by the retailer or manufacturer that arranged the delivery. Please read the section "Our Role as a Service Provider" below, which explains how this affects your privacy rights.

By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy. We may update it from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version here and update the effective date above.

Personal Information We Collect

"Personal information" means information that identifies, relates to, or could reasonably be linked to an individual. The categories we collect depend on how you interact with us.

Delivery recipients. When we deliver or install products to your home or business, we may collect or receive your name, delivery address, phone number, email address, order and product details (including model and serial numbers), delivery and installation appointment details, access and special delivery instructions, your signature confirming delivery, photographs taken to document delivery condition or completed installation, and notes about the delivery, including damage or service issues. We do not receive or collect your billing address or any payment information, such as credit card, debit card, or bank account details. Payment for your order is handled directly by the retailer or manufacturer you purchased from.

Network Carrier Partners. When a Network Carrier Partner works within our network, we collect business and identity information needed to qualify and pay for services. This may include name, contact information, company and operating authority details, motor carrier and DOT numbers, insurance information, equipment details, certifications, background and safety information, and delivery status and location updates submitted during active deliveries.

Business contacts. When you represent a retailer, manufacturer, vendor, or partner, we collect your name, business contact information, and records of our communications.

Job applicants. When you apply for a position, we collect the information in your application and resume and any additional information you provide during the hiring process.

Website visitors. When you visit our website or use our tracking and support tools, we collect the information you submit through our forms, and we automatically collect technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and dates and times of access.

How We Collect Personal Information

We collect personal information directly from you, from the retailer or manufacturer that arranged your delivery, from Network Carrier Partners, automatically through your use of our website, and from service providers and public or third-party sources used to verify Network Carrier Partner qualifications.

How We Use Personal Information

We use personal information to:

  • Schedule, coordinate, perform, and confirm deliveries and installations.

  • Communicate with you about your delivery, including by phone, email, and text (SMS) status updates.

  • Provide order tracking and respond to support requests, questions, and claims, including damage and service issues.

  • Qualify, onboard, monitor, and pay Network Carrier Partners in our network.

  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Services.

  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, safety issues, and misuse.

  • Comply with applicable laws, regulations, contractual obligations, and lawful requests.

Our Role as a Service Provider

When we deliver or install products arranged by a retailer or manufacturer, we generally process delivery recipients' personal information on that company's behalf, as a service provider or processor. In those cases, the retailer or manufacturer is responsible for the personal information it provides to us, its own privacy policy governs how that information was collected, and we handle the information under our contract with that company and this Privacy Policy.

If you have a privacy request about a specific delivery, the fastest route is usually to contact the retailer or manufacturer that arranged it. We will support that company in responding to verified requests as required by our agreement and applicable law.

How We Share Personal Information

  • We do not sell personal information for money. We share personal information only as described below:

  • Network Carrier Partners. We share the information needed to schedule and complete your delivery and installation with the independent Network Carrier Partners assigned to your order.

  • Retailers and manufacturers. We share delivery status, confirmation, photographs, and service information with the company that arranged your delivery.

  • Service providers. We share information with vendors that perform services for us, such as website hosting, text (SMS) messaging, order tracking, analytics, and information technology and security support. These providers are permitted to use the information only to perform services for us.

  • Legal and safety. We may share information to comply with law, regulation, legal process, or government request, to enforce our agreements, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Pulse Final Mile, our customers, our partners, or others.

  • Business transfers. We may share or transfer information in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of our business.

Text (SMS) Messaging

If you consent to receive text messages from Pulse Final Mile, you agree to receive SMS messages from us related to your delivery. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency may vary. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help. Mobile information and consent to receive text messages are not shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Cookies and Analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember your preferences, and understand site traffic and activity. Required cookies are always active so the site can function. Analytics and performance cookies are used as described in our cookie banner. Most browsers let you manage or disable cookies through their settings. Our website does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals.

Location Information During Deliveries

To coordinate and confirm deliveries, our Network Carrier Partners may provide delivery status and location updates while a delivery is in progress. This information is used to manage and confirm the delivery and is not used to track individuals outside of active delivery activity.

Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, to meet our contractual and legal obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. Retention periods reflect the nature of the information and applicable legal requirements, including statute of limitation periods in the states where we operate.

Security

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your interaction with us is no longer secure, please contact us using the information below.

California Privacy Rights

This section applies to California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (together, the "CCPA").

Pulse Final Mile provides its services primarily to businesses, and in most cases we handle delivery recipients' personal information as a service provider on behalf of a retailer or manufacturer, as described in "Our Role as a Service Provider." We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

In the preceding 12 months, we may have collected the following categories of personal information: identifiers (such as name, address, phone number, email address, and IP address); records described in the California Customer Records statute (such as signature and photographs documenting a delivery); commercial information (such as products delivered and transaction details); internet or network activity (such as website usage); geolocation information collected during active deliveries; and, for Network Carrier Partners and job applicants, professional or employment-related information and government identifiers. We collect this information for the business purposes described in "How We Use Personal Information," and we disclose it to the categories of recipients described in "How We Share Personal Information." We do not collect payment information or billing addresses.

Subject to verification and to the limits in the CCPA, California residents may request to: know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected; access a copy of that information; correct inaccurate information; and delete personal information. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

To make a request, contact us at info@pulsefinalmile.com or (714) 804-5385. We will take steps to verify your identity before responding. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, with proof of authorization. If your request relates to a specific delivery, we may direct you to, or coordinate with, the retailer or manufacturer that arranged it, because that company is responsible for the underlying personal information.

Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
